The ITS Academy Fondazione “Giovanni Caboto” enriches its facilities with a new Engine Room Laboratory.
Thanks to the collaboration with the Fondazione staff and prof. Damiano Spinosa, the new laboratory has been installed in desktop configuration based on the new Unitest LER-EC which allows a complete simulation on the standard and emergency procedures in an engine room based on low speed, 10 cylinder, 2-stroke, turbocharged and reversible diesel engine.
The simulator includes instructor station and seven trainee stations.
